Upon arrival at Kolkata Airport, get transferred to Baripada. Check in to your stay at the Royal Palace with a regal welcome, where tradition greets you with a Kalinga Swagatam — chandan tilak, fresh flower garlands, and a refreshing bael sharbat, marking the start of a spiritual and cultural escape. Relax for a while and head for Lunch where you get to devour a traditional Odia Thali. In the evening, experience the Kalinga Mahal Parikrama, a guided tour of the palace that concludes with the divine Sandhya Aarti at Ma Mangla Temple, evoking a sense of sacred tranquility. Later in the evening witness Chhau Nrutya Mahotsav, where the vibrant and martial grace of Odisha’s traditional Chhau dance comes alive against the backdrop of palace serenity. Today morning post a traditional breakfast, venture to the Baripada Jagannath Temple to witness the Pahandi Bije, the ceremonial procession where Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra are carried out in rhythmic splendor.
