Whispers Of The Wild: A Jim Corbett Escape

Upon arrival at the Pantnagar Airport get transferred to the Lodge. Check in and relax for a while. Later in the evening head for an explorative walk called ‘A Forest’s Secret’ around regenerated forest habitats within the Retreat, we discover Corbett’s hidden wonders and how flora and fauna species coexist and cleverly support each other. On our trails and paths, we can check the signs of visiting animals, learn to interpret jungle sounds and get to know about the importance of our local mammals, birds, reptiles, key tree species and medicinal plants and shrubs. Begin your day with your first early morning game drive in Jim Corbett, where you can immerse yourself in the park's rich flora and fauna. Return to the lodge for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, head for another Wildlife experience ‘Our Feathered Friends’ a fascinating walk within the Retreat, you can explore avian ecologies, learn about migratory and year-round birds and oftentimes identify more than 20 different species! Conclude the day's adventure with a delightful dinner at the lodge. Overnight stay in Jim Corbett.

Rest of the day is at leisure to indulge in the amenities available at the lodge. After the sunset, Explore the paths and trails of the Retreat to spot elusive creatures and to experience the excitement of night-time jungle sounds. The neighbouring buffer forests are often alive with alarm calls at this time, indicating that big cats are on the move while, in the Retreat, we can look for night-loving species including owls, nightjars, bats, beetles, scorpions and spiders. For your final morning, embark on a Game drive in the Jim Corbett National Park. Head back to the lodge for breakfast. Post breakfast, check out from the lodge and get transferred to Pantnagar airport to board your flight for your onward journey.
